Another day in the Life

Hello, Hello, Hello........ well as I start a new week I must report that not much happened new.

Oh wait well I did read a article written by a columnists with the Arab times. Guess what she actually replied to me and in length!!

Very nice lady and a modern Muslim, this really shocked me and mad my day.

I interviewed a maid and had her clean a couple of rooms for me, unfortunately I was not pleased with her work so I am still in need of a maid.

Something very strange happened today!! When I got home at about 18:00/6 pm my power was off in the apartment. I went to the power box and turned the main breaker back on.

I am wondering what's up with that...... anyone have any idea if the power went off in Kuwait today??

Ok peeps, write me a hi note or something,......or something!!

Lost in Kuwait Introduction

Introducing me, I'm KevinX

I am a American from the east coast and I have spent lots of years living in Germany where there are many many Muslim men and women. In fact I have made friend with Moroccans, Turks, Kurds and others.

But here in Kuwait I feel a wall that divides me from the natives. This wall makes me feel lost, lost in a small, small country.

I hope that people reading my blog can help me understand more of what I see and yet have no one to explain the background.

Please no hate, no racist remarks and trust me when I say I respect the Islamic way of life and every other religion and way of life.

The first thing I noticed in Kuwait was how attractive the women made their त्रदितिओनल garments, yes after two months I have not learned the proper name. I wonder often why they make them so noticeable if we men outside the family should not bother them in any way.

Well I am still hoping to make friend with a Kuwait/Islamic family that I may learn the answer to that and many more puzzling things I see here as I continue being lost in Kuwait.
